Make Money From Home Legitimately

The golden rule to make money from home legitimately is to understand that you need to trade something of value for the money you earn. The other party needs to see what you offer as worth much more than what you are giving to them. And remember, people give you money based on trust and emotion, not logic. People spend money based on emotion and they justify it with logic.

There are 3 main areas of value you can offer to earn money. They are products, services and opportunities.

Products

The way to earn money selling products legitimately is to acquire a product for much less than a reasonable person (who wants the product) is willing to pay for it.

An example of making money selling a product is to locate something that seems to be a good bargain (craigslist, ebay, flea markets, etc). But before you buy it…

Look around on ebay to see what similar items are actually selling for.

If your time, energy, and money is worth the money you can collect by selling the item on ebay, then it’s probably a money maker for you.

Services

Services are more subjective than products. You can certainly look around online to see what other people are charging for their services – but often people will pay much more for the same service if you can trigger a good emotion for them.

For example, let’s say you want to offer your services as a pet sitter. You can look around online for people offering similar services and note their prices. But remember that pet owners LOVE their animals and they are often willing to pay for a service they feel they can trust and one that will take great care of their pet. If you can convey this better than your competitors, you can charge more and will often get the business.

Opportunities

To make money with an opportunity legitimately, you need to show your customer how they can give you money, and in return can make much more. Sometimes this is called selling money at a discount.

For example, if you have a way for people to make money and you can guarantee that your way works, or they get a refund, then you are selling an opportunity.

A great analogy to present to your customers is putting a quarter in a slot machine with a guaranteed pay out. And if they don’t hit the jackpot, they get their quarter back. This is often a no-brainer to a customer who understands the opportunity and how it can work for them.

No matter how you make money from home legitimately, remember the golden rule that the other party needs to see your product, service or opportunity worth much more than the money they are spending to buy it from you.
